A small home church gathered together with open Bibles in warm light

A Home Church

Devoted to the Word. Fellowship. Breaking Bread. Prayer.

A gathering of Christ-Following families doing life together spurring each other on to love and good works, doing ALL that the Lord commanded us in His Word.

Saturday Evenings · First & Third Saturday of the month

You're Welcome Here

A family gathered around God's Word

We are a home church — a small family of believers who meet in one another's homes to worship, pray, study the Scriptures, and share life together. There is no building to find, no crowd to get lost in. Just the people of God gathered around His Word.

We are Christ-Followers, gathering together as the Lord intended His believers to do. Our creed is the Bible, our confession is the gospel, and our song is the doxology. Everything we do is meant to return to it.

We are slaves of righteousness.

What We Believe

Our Foundation

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
— The Doxology, our theology in four lines

We are a nondenominational, Christ-centered church built on the truths from the Bible. We hold to no creed above Scripture. We stand gladly in the historic stream of faith summarized by the Five Solas: Scripture alone, faith alone, grace alone, Christ alone, and the glory of God alone.

Our aim in everything in life is captured in the old hymn we love to sing. That is our theology in four lines. All good things come from God. All creation owes Him praise. He is worshiped in heaven and on earth. He is one God in three Persons. Everything we believe flows from this doxology, and everything we do is meant to return to it.

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, verbally breathed out by the Holy Spirit through human authors. Scripture is the final and sufficient authority for all matters of faith and practice. It does not need the church, tradition, or human reason to validate it; rather, it stands as the judge of all teaching, including our own.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 19:7-11

The One True God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory, distinct in Person, undivided in essence. This one God created all things, sustains all things, and rules over all things according to His own good pleasure.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6

God the Father

We believe God the Father is sovereign over all creation and all of history. Nothing happens outside His will or apart from His purpose, including the salvation of sinners, which He determined before the foundation of the world, not on account of anything foreseen in us, but according to the counsel of His own will.

Ephesians 1:3-6; Romans 9:15-16; Psalm 115:3

Soli Deo Gloria — To God Alone Be the Glory

We believe that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Salvation is not ultimately about us; it is about Him. Every doctrine above exists to magnify the grace, holiness, and glory of God, not the achievement of man. We were saved by grace, kept by grace, and we exist to display that grace to a watching world, so that in everything, God alone receives the praise.

Romans 11:36; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Isaiah 42:8

The Five Solas We Stand On

Sola Scriptura

Scripture Alone

Our final authority for faith and life.

Sola Fide

Faith Alone

The instrument by which we receive Christ's righteousness.

Sola Gratia

Grace Alone

The source of our salvation, from start to finish.

Solus Christus

Christ Alone

The sufficient Savior; no other mediator is needed.

Soli Deo Gloria

To God Alone Be the Glory

In all things, and for all things.

Our Mission

To turn every Christ-Following home into a gathering of the saints with faithful men leading their families to the Father and fulfilling the great commission. The goal is not to get a bigger building or grow to hundreds or thousands, but to live as the first gathering of the saints did in Acts 2.

Our Vision

Every Christ-Following male is called to imitate Jesus in all he said and did and we are on a mission to make every home a gathering of the saints. Not grow beyond our homes, but to multiply to more gatherings of saints in more homes across the world. Devoted to the Word. Fellowship. Breaking Bread. Prayer.

Our Values

God-Glorifying

Every gathering and conversation points back DOING what the Lord tells us to do in His Word as slaves of righteousness.

Christ-Following Lives

As Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing, we will only do what we see Jesus doing and imitate Him in all areas of our lives.

God-Glorifying

We take it seriously when Jesus says, "Why do you call me Lord Lord and not do what I tell you." We will live every second of our lives fleeing from temptation, resisting the devil, and serving the Lord.

Great Commission Driven

Live out the Great Commission: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in teh name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." Matthew 28-19-20

Slaves of Righteousness

You will be a slave to either Sin and Death or Righteousness and Life. We choose being a slave of righteousness. We exist to know what the Lord says in His Word and to do what it says as slaves.

Why "Nondenominational"?

We are not anti-denominational, and we happily stand alongside every church that holds to these same historic, biblical truths. We simply hold no allegiance to a denominational name, structure, or tradition above Scripture itself. Our creed is the Bible. Our confession is the gospel. Our song is the doxology. And our aim, in every single thing, is that God alone would be glorified.

Soli Deo Gloria.
